Add a Nivo Slider to a post or page by using the button in the Visual editor. The plugin will generate the [nivo] shortcode for your choice of image selection, slider speed, and type of animation.

There are three different configurations for slider size and behaviour. This panel contains the settings for the First configuration.

This panel contains the settings for the Second slider configuration.

This panel contains the settings for slider widgets.

Here is how the slider will appear. A gray border has been added to show the exact size of the slider.

The slider has the size px by px.

Plugin Settings

/> Activate NextGen sliders. If checked, you'll be able to create Nivo sliders from your NextGen galleries. Tested with version of NextGen.

/> Activate Debug mode. Hopefully you won't need it.

/> Load Nivo Slider. By default, this plugin loads version of Nivo Slider. Leave this checked unless Nivo is installed separately.

/> Load Custom Image Sizes plugin. By default, this plugin loads version of Custom Image Sizes. Live this checked unless the plugin is installed separately.

/> Uninstall the plugin when deactivated. This will delete the options set by the plugin.

Slider Size: width height
Number of slices: Suggested value is the width of your slider divided by 40.
Linking: /> If checked, then the slider will link each image to the post where it's featured.
Caption: /> Display a caption using each post's title.
Caption opacity: a number between 0 and 1.
Navigation: /> Pause the slider when the mouse is over it.
/> Add Previous/Next navigation.
/> Hide the Previous/Next navigation when the mouse is not over the slider.
"Jump to slide" navigation: /> Add a row of buttons for navigation to any image.
/> Add a row of numbers for navigation to any image.
/> Use thumbnail navigation.
